Adam & Chelsey Kees
Adam is the Founder and Director of Arise Worship Internship. He is a worshiper, teacher, and forerunner who is the Lead Pastor of Blueprint Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to planting Blueprint, Adam helped launch worship services, develop teams, and coach leaders at numerous churches, crossing denominational lines. Drawing on years of training and experience, Adam empowers people by calling out their gifts and holding them accountable to the greatness within them. As the director of Arise, his desire is to raise people up, equip them, and release them to become everything God has made them to be. He has built thriving teams at megachurches and church plants, led worship across the globe, and continues to passionately equip other leaders to lead more effectively.

Jayson has been in ministry since 2004, serving in many different roles: worship director for a multisite church, full-time singer/songwriter, and student pastor. He is now the Executive Director of child sponsorship with New Mission System International. Jayson is a main instructor at Arise.
In addition to our core staff, we host numerous guest instructors to teach, encourage, and impart. We bring in people that reinforce our 3 main focuses of equipping you spiritually, musically, and to be an amazing leader. Each summer has different surprise guests--below are some of the people we've had in the past:
In the summer of 2009, the Lord gifted a unified vision to the hearts of six friends from Orlando, Florida. That vision quickly developed into the atmospheric worship band now known as Bellarive. Their heart is to craft artistic worship music for the creation to sing straight to the Father above. The band believes there to be a beautiful relationship between Spirit and sound, and expresses that connection through their worship individually and corporately. Melissa Mage states, “We pray that we would be the conduit between the Creator and His creation and that His glory would always be the focal point.”
John Mark is a singer/songwriter whose honest lyrics and open heart are capturing the attention of worshipers worldwide. He has released multiple albums over the past decade that declare the truth of the Gospel and invite real conversations with a present, caring, and loving God. Undoubtedly, the most well-known release of his career is "How He Loves". This song is proclaimed in churches across the globe and has been covered by other noted artists such as David Crowder, Jesus Culture, Flyleaf, Anthony Evans, and Jared Anderson.
Jeff is a Christian solo artist and worship leader. He is a Dove Award winner and has been nominated for a Grammy. He was the lead singer of the gold-selling band Sonicflood. Their debut album produced two Christian radio #1 hits in "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever", and "I Want to Know You". Jeff now runs WorshipCityMinistries, which he created as an umbrella to launch, serve, and assist multiple ministries worldwide. His annual Pure Worship Institute conference seeks to equip a generation of Spirit-led worshipers. Jeff is also a full-time faculty member of North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His message is true worship and for a generation to put down the "American Idol" image they have been overwhelmed with in favor of service, anointing, and availability to the Spirit. His passion is evident and his agenda is only to glorify the Lord.
Raised in a family of musicians, music has always been embedded in Sarah Reeves' genes. Sarah started her journey as a touring artist with Rush of Fools, Robbie Seay Band, Jimmy Needham, and several others. She has made her way throughout the country leading worship in a wide variety of places such as Acquire the Fire, Crystal Cathedral, and National Assemblies of God events as well as leading worship for Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and other women's conferences. Encountering God is what drives Sarah to sing. A sampling of her music will convince you of her sincerity, and an examination of her lyrics will reveal a heart far older and wiser than her years.
Tod is the Executive Director of the Caleb Company--a group that has a mission to equip God's people with His heart for Israel and the nations. From his bio: "I am a man after God’s heart like David. I walk with God, giving Him pleasure like Enoch. I am a father and husband, championing my family, and others that God brings into my life and sends me to. I am a beloved son sharing my Father’s riches and inheritance with those who are hungry for more. I am called to bless all peoples – first to the Jew and then to the Gentile – taking back what the enemy has stolen and multiplying the Kingdom of God through leaders and through weapons of mass instruction. I am a Fathering, Warrior Worshiper, sharing God’s heart with all to whom God sends me."

What continues to resonate with me to this day is the richness of the program, and the amount Adam and the team were able to pour into us in 8 short weeks.
